C Levels WHY?

The Common European Framework has established 6 levels when it comes to certifying languages: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Reaching them does not necessarily mean one academic year for each indicator and this explains why an EOI Advanced2 is only awarded a B2 level (this fact is currently being revised at the highest levels of Government). Therefore, falling into line with European standards has seriously affected EOIs and somehow undermined and devalued its highest leaving certificate. This turbulent scenario explains the urgent necessity to implement the teaching and certification of C levels at EOIs throughout Spain.
